Ministry of External Affairs, India · public record
What India has signed, hosted, counted and traded — every figure traced to its source.
Pick an Indian mission and the page becomes a briefing on the bilateral relationship: the mission and its head, agreements on record, trade, the overseas Indian community, and MEA’s own brief — each number one click from the sentence it came from. How this works
Only public sources
MEA mission pages, its treaties register, the overseas-Indians table and the bilateral brief PDF — over plain HTTP, no internal system, no credentials.
A number without a source is unrepresentable
The type system refuses a figure that has neither a citable source with a locator nor a derivation from other figures. The build fails loudly rather than showing one.
Disagreement is shown, not smoothed
Where two MEA sources give different answers — as they do for Australia’s Indian community — both are shown and the gap is named. Nothing is averaged.
